• Site 1MB264 was documented in an earlier survey project by USA and reported to have a Port Dauphin phase component.
• Phase II testing of the site, consisting of six 1-x-1 m units, yielded an entirely non-European Native American assemblage including Mississippi and Bell Plain varieties of shell tempered ceramics, Chicot Red (var. Ft. Louis), and Port Dauphin Incised. The temporally extensive site deposits were interpreted as deflated and no features were identified.
