• Pedestrian survey of multiple parcels, one of which contained 1MB94, and when surface artifacts were found then some level of shovel testing was completed; however, sediments were “hand sifted” (Patterson 1992:6).
• 1MB116 was revisited during this work, and the report states: “two pits, each lined with a rosin compound and having a 150 cm diameter. One pit was excavated yielding two shell tempered ceramic sherds of Late Mississippian to historic aboriginal origin” and interpreted as tar kilns (Patterson 1992:12). Shovel tests in the vicinity also yielded shell tempered sherds. This work, the features, and interpretation seem to be from the original 1990 report, although nothing is cited. It appears that Patterson (1992:12) did not find any deposits or artifacts from this site.
• 1MB94 was revisited, although only the portion not already recorded as the site was shovel tested and surface inspected, totaling 20 shovel tests (Patterson 1992:13). A trench or water ditch was documented, but its function and affiliation are not clear.
