Emphasizes the importance of reawakening traditional Choctaw knowledge of textile production through Indigenous archaeological approaches. This project focuses on a project of relearning how to create textiles from plant fibers using traditional methods, connecting study of the archaeological record and working with contemporary Choctaw elders. Includes discussion of relating to traditional homelands through this reawakening work.
